The Riches of Grace

đź“– Scripture:

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” — Ephesians 1:7 (NKJV)

❓Reflective Question:

Do you live as one who truly grasps the immeasurable riches of God’s grace?

We must not treat the grace of God in the same merit as pennies. For it is the greatest riches we can receive and is beyond all material calculation. It is an immeasurable treasure house which is without end, a great storehouse from which the saints of God can draw from and never be found lacking. Even if we were to empty all of the oceans in the earth drop by drop, we would sooner reach the bottom of the ocean rather than exhaust the boundless mercy of the Lord our God.

God’s grace redeems the unworthy, restores the broken-hearted, and reclaims the ones who have lost their path. It does not hesitate before our sins, nor does it shrink at the weight of our past. Oh, what love is this, that Christ should purchase our salvation not with silver or gold but with His own precious blood. The world offers wealth that rusts and rots, fame that fades away, and pleasures that perish, but the riches of God’s grace endure forever.

My fellow believer in Christ, why do we live as though we are poor? Why do we scrape at the dust for joy when the wondrous storehouses of heaven are open to you? Drink deeply of this grace. Let it clothe you in righteousness, strengthen you in weakness, and embolden you in service. Christ has not given sparingly — so let us not live as beggars when we are children of the King!

🙏🏽 Prayer:

“Heavenly Father, I thank You for the riches of Your grace, which cleanse, restore, and sustain me. Teach me to live in the fullness of what You have given, not as one in want, but as one lavished with mercy. May I never take for granted the precious price Your Son paid for my redemption. In Jesus’ name.”

Amen.
