Gospel-centred Relationships

đź“– Scripture:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)

❓Reflective Question:

How does the gospel shape the way you love and forgive others?

Relationships can be very messy. People will disappoint us. We disappoint them. And sometimes, it feels easier to walk away than to work through the hurt. But the gospel of Christ calls us to a different path — to love one another not as the world loves, but as Christ loves His church.

Jesus doesn’t love us because we have done anything to earn it. He loves us at our worst, offering grace instead of condemnation. It is that same grace that we’ve received is what we are called to extend to others. It means forgiving others when it’s hard, being patient with people when we want to react, and loving those who may have done us wrong.

That’s why Gospel-centred relationships aren’t about keeping score. It’s about choosing to reflect the radical, undeserved love of Christ to all of God’s creation. Who in your life needs to experience that kind of love from you today?

🙏🏽 Prayer:

“Gracious Father, thank You for loving me even when I didn’t deserve it. Help me to extend that same grace to others. Teach me to love with patience, kindness, and forgiveness, just as You have loved me.”

Amen.
